“glaskins gallery” opened in 2008 and was previously located in Trinity Beach, Cairns, Queensland and then relocated in January 2012, in partnership with other gallery owners to gallery space at The Pier at the Marina, Pier Point Road on the Cairns Esplanade foreshore. It now operates only as an online gallery and arranges exhibitions at venues Australia wide.The gallery features Australian Indigenous, Contemporaneity Abstract and TI artwork and artifacts. "glaskins gallery is owned by Garry "Flange Irukandji Llewellyn Glaskin of Trinity Park in Cairns, Queensland, who relocated from Fremantle, Western Australia in 2006. Garry Glaskin (Flange Irukandji signature) artwork is fast becoming accepted as a contemporary style of mixed media and striking colours, depicting stories of old and new. Whether a home decorator, art lover or serious collector, “glaskins gallery”will have that piece of art you are looking for. Garry Glaskin was also the founder of Trinity Picininis of Aboriginal Creative Art in Australia, which previously devoted it`s artistic expertise to the re-education of our children in Aboriginal Trinity lore through art, music, film and story telling. "glaskins gallery" would like to pay respect to the Aboriginal members of our community by acknowledging the traditional Yirriganydji owners of this land. Acknowledgement also to our Aboriginal Trinity people, the Jidinji, Gimoy and Tjpakai clans.
